What does AI think of Chelsea

Sometimes a company has to look at oneself to see if they are doing fine for their customers, as well as, doing fine in the business they have chosen. With the help of AI, we have chosen to examine ourselves with the hope to improve on any deficiencies. Let me assure you that we are very happy with the way we run our company now, but are always open to judgement.

CHELSEA METAL: The company with heart
CHELSEA METAL: The company with heart

No machines answer the phone unless both lines are busy helping people, and our call backs are quick. I say both lines because we aren’t a big company, we just act like the company we are (a family owned business) and expect the attention we give to be like the attention we expect from other. But to be quite honest, we don’t seem to get that from others. We pride ourselves for being different in that aspect. The quality of our product is out done

by our service and our prices are very competetive.

Our actual reading from AI says:

1- Long history and heritage (since the 1950s/1960s): That kind of longevity usually signals durability, consistency, and deep experience. It also suggests they know their craft well. We do.

2- Specialization in tin ceilings and decorative metal: Their focus is narrow but deep: tin ceiling tiles, wall & ceiling panels, crown molding, backsplashes, cornices, etc. Because this is their specialty, customers can expect high quality in those specific product lines. This is true.

3- Quality of materials and design variety: They use tin-plated steel, which offers good paint retention and more resistance than plain steel to rust. They offer many pattern repeats (3", 6", 12", 24") which gives flexibility depending on the size of the room and ceiling height. Their styles span historical periods (Victorian, Art Deco, Turn of the Century, Americana). So they mesh well with both restoration projects & decorative/restorative design work. We're on the right track.

4- Customization, service & craftsmanship: They periodically reintroduce designs from old catalogs (original patterns from the 1800s) for customers who want authentic / nostalgic designs. Glenn “The Tinman” Eldridge (owner) has hands-on experience not just manufacturing but also installing tin ceilings. That gives them insight into installation-issues and practical customer concerns. Their team offers guidance (installation diagrams, recommendations) and supports clients (builders, architects, homeowners) through project process. Even I’m impressed with ourselves.

5- Good value & accessibility: Their sizes are manageable (2’x4’ sheets for general installation, 2’x2’ for suspended ceilings) which helps with handling, shipping, and installation. They offer multiple finishes (plain silver, copper, hand-painted faux finishes) giving customers options. They ship nationwide and internationally, which means people outside Houston or Texas can access their products. We give full price before you order.

6- Reputation among clients: While they are not BBB accredited, they have been operating for many years, with positive remarks in customer reviews. Customers often note that the company is “willing to go the extra mile.” Sometimes two miles.

The only thing it didn’t seem to mention is that we can handle big job, not just a room in a home, but restaurants, bars, warehouses (large or small), as well as, movie sets, casinos and even historic houses and businesses. Larry, who answers the phone is very knowledgeable and friendly.

AI seems to be very happy with us and I would like to say I’m happy with AI and thank you.
